Obviously this isn't a real person I was talking to ... if it was ... yeah ...

Well new Tein Type Flex coilovers have been installed. Unfortunately I didn't have a camera with me at the time when I was installing them, but it's not like they're hard to install. Take off a few bolts, remove old suspension, put in coilovers, put bolts back on. That's literally it.

Ride is slightly harsher than stock, but not nearly as bad as I thought. I could have gone with a stiffer spring rate. Now if only I had even wider tires ;)

Well I got my coilovers today (yesterday really) and tried to put them on, but being distracted by having several other cars there in addition to not being able to read the japanese instructions led to slight delays.

Turns out the wheels the previous owner had don't fit with the coilovers so I had to borrow a friends spare and am now pimpin 2 donuts on the front of my car. I didn't get a chance to put the rears on because of the above mentioned delays ... that and not knowing how to safely remove the rear deck.

Plans for tomorrow: Call Kaaz and order side flanges, call Wheeloptions and order rims, go to auto parts store and get some spacers, and put rear coilovers on. Damn I'm not gonna be able to sit still at work, so much to do o_O

Well I found someone selling a Kaaz 2-Way LSD for my car for $550 new. I couldn't pass up on saving $150 compared to buying from Kaaz so I bought it. I still need to get the output flanges from Kaaz. Falling asleep for 3 hours after getting home from work doesn't do much to help that though :(

This is the first time I've bought something via PayPal as opposed getting it through a company. I just hope it doesn't bite me in the ass ... the tracking number he sent me this morning still doesn't work. Hopefully either UPS is slow or he made a typo ... so I hope o_O

Well my coilovers have finally been shipped out ... about 3 weeks after I thought I'd have them.

What's this? 1Z 308 3TT 03 4133 393 5 Could it be a string of random alpha-numeric characters? Probably not ;)
