Got a fax saying that the container with my clip in it arrived in CA a few days ago.

Hopefully in 2-3 weeks I should have my clip ... finally.

A tale of the goverment agencies: First called the National Contact Center who referred me to the International Trade Administration. Jim Rob there told me to contact the Federal Maritime Commission who confirmed the companies on a faxed copy of the Bill of Lading I have are in fact Ocean Transportation Intermediaries. I'm a regular Sherlock Homles :)

Now all that's left is to see what they actually shipped me. It could be a S14 front clip or ... a crate of bricks.

Just stroked a check for a $4800 credit card bill ... $3800 of which is for merchandise that I haven't even gotten yet.

$500 of that I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to go to court over (see previous posts, I still haven't gotten in touch with them). Another $3300 is for a S14 front clip which I have NO paperwork saying I've bought it nor anything to show towards the fact that I will be getting it (a shipping invoice would be nice).

So yeah ... not doing to good moneywise right about now ><

In looking into what I should do about this whole Pay Pal fiasco I've found out that the place has not 1, not 2, not even 3, but 4 different phone numbers.

Well ... I think I just got dicked out of $500 ><

November 21: I order some Rota Attack 17" Bronze 5 lug from www.hondaacurashop.com via Pay Pal
End of November: Find out they only have 3 of the rims and are waiting for an additional one to arrive from their supplier
Beginning of December: Still waiting for rim to be shipped
December 10: I'm told they won't be getting any more of the same rims I want until sometime in January. I tell them to just cancel the order and refund my money. The guy I'm talking to "Gary" agrees and tells me to email them explaining what happened and my money will be refunded
December 10 - present: Emailed them another time, tried calling 10+ times only to get busy signals.
January 1: Call up credit card company. They tell me since Pay Pal acts as a middleman there is nothing they can do. I have to resolve this through the seller. I send an email to Pay Pal even though the 30 days allowed for buyer complaints has passed.

What's next? I'm probably going to contact a lawyer ... I'm not about to just give these guys $500 of my money without a fight.

All this makes me VERY nervous about the $3300 front clip I just bought through Pay Pal.

Spent New Years with the symptoms of the flu ... lucky me.

That's ok ... trying to stay awake after taking drugs with diphenhydramine citrate in them makes it feel like I'm floating ... or something
