I got invited to Gmail a little over a week ago by one of my friends. Thus the great username search began. First I tried getting eng@gmail.com which was of course too short, cursed 6 letter minimum! It offered brian.eng as a suggestion, not very cool I think to myself. Trying to find a "cool" username I start asking around. The best one offered up was cooter ... HAHA ... even thinking about that word makes me laugh :) Not to mention it is a real word! Its a type of turtle.

Next stop for username suggestions, words from games. Can't get any cool ones from Diablo so I try Magic: The Gathering (yeah yeah, I'm a dork) card names. Unfortunately all the really cool sounding names are 2 really long words, I'm looking for a short easy to remember one. Finally come to twiddle, sounds kind of funny, so I go ahead and get it.

Fast forward a few days after signing up for Gmail. My cox.net email is getting spammed to high heaven (was single digit per day | now in the 100s per day), which coincidently is the same address I've been using for all my job search/resume stuff. Not good. What if I miss a job offer in all the spam? I know I'll just get that brian.eng account that it suggested before. I get another invite from a different friend ... lo and behold it is taken! WHAT. THE. FUCK.
